Dentures

Made of acrylic or metal/acrylic, dentures are removable appliances used to replace multiple missing teeth.

Patients can have either complete dentures, which involves replacing the entire upper and/or lower teeth, or partial dentures which involves filling in space left by any missing teeth. Complete dentures can be supported by implants and screws while partial dentures are attached to surrounding teeth through small clasps.

Dentures are a popular treatment because whilst they are less permanent, they are often more cost effective than bridges, crowns or dental implants.

    Temporary Closure

    Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has placed dentistry on high level restrictions.

    We have therefore made the difficult decision to suspend practice at City Beach Dental Centre for the near future.

    If you are an existing patient of the practice and have a genuine dental emergency, please call 93858538 and you will be directed to either Tony or Kate. They will triage you, provide advice and arrange treatment as appropriate.

    Please be aware that treatment options are very limited at this time and we will always endeavour to do our best for you.
